Rosemary Simple Syrup

All you need to make this rosemary simple syrup at home is water, sugar, and fresh rosemary sprigs. Use it in cocktails for a deliciously sweet and herbal flavor!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 6 fresh rosemary sprigs about 4 to 6 inches long

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, heat water over medium heat until lightly steaming. Add in sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add rosemary sprigs and simmer until rosemary begins to wilt, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove saucepan from heat and let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  • Using a fine mesh strainer, strain simple syrup into a jar or glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
