Rosemary Simple Syrup

Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat water over medium heat until lightly steaming. Add in sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
Add rosemary sprigs and simmer until rosemary begins to wilt, about 5 minutes.
Remove saucepan from heat and let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain simple syrup into a jar or glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
