This easy delicious pizza sauce recipe will take your homemade pizza nights to the next level! Plus, it makes a great dipping sauce for mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, pizza crust... you name it.
In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add minced garlic andsauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, sea salt, and basil. Stir to combine and let cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Transfer sauce to a dish to cool before using or storing in an airtight container.*
