Our maple bourbon bacon burger takes"breakfast for dinner" to a whole new level with a waffle bun, homemade honey butter, maple bourbon syrup, and crispy maple bacon.
Prepare and grill the burger patties according to your preferred method, until desired doneness.
While the burgers are cooking, toast Eggo waffles until golden brown and lightly crisped.
Butter one side of each Eggo waffle with the Honey Butter.
Transfer cooked patties to toasted Eggos. Top each burger with 4 pieces of bacon and drizzle a spoonful of bourbon maple syrup over them. Place the Eggo waffles butter side-down to close the burgers.
Serve with your favorite side, a cold beer, and enjoy!
Honey Butter
Combine softened butter and honey in a small bowl and stir well until fully mixed.
Refrigerate until ready to use.

But we totally get it if you have a different favorite burger or want to use a premade or frozen patty instead.Maple bourbon bacon: We happened to find this maple bourbon bacon at Whole Foods while grocery shopping and knew it was perfect for this burger - but if you can't find a maple bourbon bacon, a maple bacon will do just fine
