We made a super easy mojito mocktail that’s the perfect refreshing, non-alcoholic drink for these warm summer days. It takes just 4 everyday ingredients and 3 to 5 minutes to make this delicious drink that you’ll be sipping on all day long.
4 to 5mediummint leavesplus a sprig for garnishing
½fluid ouncesimple syrup
Club sodafor topping
Instructions
Add fresh mint leaves first to the bottom of the glass. Then add the lime wedges and simple syrup. Muddle until the limes are fully juiced.
Fill the glass with ice.
Top with club soda or sparkling water and gently stir to combine.
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and serve with a straw.
Notes
Put the mint leaves in the glass before the lime - This way, you can muddle the lime wedges into the mint, and the mint won’t get over-muddled. When mint is over-muddled, it becomes really bitter and starts to fall apart. It’ll ruin the taste of the drink and cause bits of leaves to float around in your glass. Stir gently once you’ve added the club - Stirring a carbonated drink knocks the bubbles out of it. So we want to make sure we don’t stir too aggressively or too much so our mocktail stays nice and bubbly.
