What are some variations of Nutella puff pastries?

We make swirls because they're easy and look good. But you can make so many different variations of Nutella puff pastry shapes. Try making knots, cookie cutter shapes, twists, and so much more. To do that, fold the dough in half and then either cut it into strips for knots or twists, or use cookie cutters for fun shapes!

Can you add other fillings?

To be honest, we haven't tried that yet! But we would like to do so in the future. Our best guess is that yes, you can add fillings. Some thin sliced strawberries or bananas would likely be the first addition we would try! If you do, let us know how it goes in the comments!

How do I store and reheat leftover Nutella puff pastries?

Accepted Answer

You can store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. We find that reheating them for 15 seconds in the microwave works well (they'll lose a bit of their crunch this way), or you can warm them in a toaster oven for a few minutes. You can also freeze these and then defrost at room temperature before reheating.
