This simple syrup makes it so easy to add a little Christmas flavor to any of our favorite cocktails. While still sweet, the tart cranberry and herbal rosemary make it super versatile.

Key Ingredients

Ingredients for cranberry rosemary simple syrup: sugar, frozen cranberries, and fresh rosemary.
  • Frozen cranberries – You can use the cranberries straight from the freezer, since you’ll be bringing the mixture to a boil before it steeps. The cranberries make for a great snack once you’re done making the simple syrup!
  • Fresh rosemary – This recipe requires fresh rosemary. Dried rosemary doesn’t give the same flavor. The fresh rosemary can also be used for again after steeping as long as you don’t mind a sweet and cranberry-ish flavor to go with it. We like to use it for focaccia or roasted almonds.
