Chocolate chip cheesecake dip.

Making cheesecake is never an easy task. Whether it’s over beating the eggs, building a water bath, or it just cracking or falling for no apparent reason, there are so many ways a cheesecake can go wrong.

That’s why we made this easy no bake chocolate chip cheesecake dip for a delicious and simple alternative.

Since this recipe has no eggs it is safe to eat without baking, and can’t be over mixed! All of a sudden, cheesecake is easy to make!

What This Recipe Entails

Once the cream cheese is soft, all that’s left for this recipe is to mix together all the ingredients. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, it’ll only take you a couple minutes to whip together.

  • Softening time: 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Prep time: 5 minutes

If you want to serve this dip cold, you’ll want to leave yourself a little longer to make it so that it can chill in the fridge before serving. We suggest refrigerating it for at least 30 minutes to an hour. You can also make this dip ahead of time and store it in the fridge for an easy dessert for any holiday party or family gathering.

Cheesecake Dip Ingredients

How do you know these ingredients will make a great cheesecake dip? Because it’s based off our blueberry lemon mini cheesecakes! Of course the flavoring here is a little different, but the only base ingredient missing is the egg. And that means you get all the creamy cheesecake flavor without any of the hard work.

Here’s everything you’ll need to make this recipe:

  • Cream cheese
  • Plain Greek yogurt
  • Granulated sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

To make an ultra creamy cheesecake dip, you’ll want the cream cheese to be room temperature. Make sure to get it out of the fridge ahead of time so that it’s super soft when you’re ready to make this dip.

As you may have noticed, we don’t use any egg in this cheesecake which means it doesn’t have to be baked. Egg is used in cheesecake to help bind the ingredients together and help it set, giving it the creamy cakey texture.

However, since we’re making a dip, we don’t need any binding or setting agents. That leaves all the flavors of a cheesecake, just a slightly different texture. By beating all the ingredients well in this recipe, we can still create that thick and creamy texture that feels “cheesecakey” while still being dippable!

How To Make No Bake Cheesecake Dip

You can make this easy no bake cheesecake dip in just a few minutes! Here’s how:

  1. First, combine softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer until creamy and well combined.
  2. Then, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  3. Serve at room temperature, or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to serve cold.

We enjoy this dip best at room temperature. It’s super creamy and delicious, plus you get to enjoy it right away!

However, you can refrigerate cheesecake dip until you’re ready to enjoy it, if you want to make it ahead of time for a party or if you’d simply prefer it cold.

Any leftover cheesecake dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Take it out ~15 to 30 minutes ahead of time if you want a softer, more room temperature dip, or eat it cold.
