Frozen s’mores are the easiest late night snack to satisfy any sweet tooth! No campfire required.

When we’re craving s’mores without the hassle, frozen s’mores are the perfect easy snack! I used to make these as a kid when I really wanted s’mores but couldn’t convince my parents to get the fire pit going in our backyard.
Colder and more refreshing than classic campfire s’mores, these make the perfect snack for movie nights and parties anytime of year. You can whip them up in just a few minutes and make as many (or as few) as you like. We like to make them bite sized, but you can also use full graham cracker squares for a more traditional s’more shape.
What This Recipe Entails
Grab two butter knives and a freezer safe tray, and all you need to do is assemble and freeze. No cooking or advanced prep required!
- Prep time: 5 to 10 minutes
- Freeze time: at least 15 minutes
Ingredients
You just need 3 ingredients to make frozen s’mores bites (just like regular s’mores!): graham crackers, hazelnut spread, and marshmallow cream. Nutella and Fluff are our go-to spreads.
Using spreads in place of a chocolate bar and marshmallows gives frozen s’mores the best texture for enjoying cold. The oil in these spreads will help prevent them from totally freezing all the way through – this means that they’ll be soft enough to easily bite into when you want to enjoy your s’mores straight from the freezer!

How To Make Frozen S’mores
It’s just like making the real thing – sandwich the chocolate and marshmallow between the graham crackers! Here’s the easiest way to do this:
- Break the graham cracker sheets at the perforated lines to make squares or smaller rectangles, depending on the size snack you prefer (we love making these bite-size!)
- Spread the hazelnut spread on one graham cracker, and the marshmallow cream on another. Don’t be afraid to lay it on thick 🙂
- Sandwich the two graham crackers together and place on a parchment lined tray that’s freezer safe.
- Freeze for at least 15 minutes before snacking!
Freezing creates a shell on the outside of the spreads while leaving the insides gooey, much like a toasted marshmallow (but colder). It also softens the graham crackers just a bit, so you get the perfect crumbly texture without your whole s’more falling apart as soon as you take a bite!
They’ll set fairly quickly for snacking, but you can always freeze them for longer if you want to make them in advance. Let them set for at least 30 minutes before storing them in a freezer safe container, and freeze for up to 3 months.
Expert Tips
- If you’re making a lot of these at once, be efficient by working with one spread at a time. Add marshmallow fluff to half the graham crackers first, then do the same with the Nutella. This way you won’t have to switch back and forth as you work.
- Don’t be afraid to lay the spreads on thick! A good s’more is gooey and messy – these should be, too.
- Make more than you think you’ll want, because you won’t be able to stop eating these 🙂
