Make your own sriracha aioli in just a few minutes with 2 ingredients! Use this spicy sauce to dress up any dish or dip your favorite snacks in.

A small bowl of sriracha aioli.

We love using sriracha aioli as a dip for fries, tortilla chips, and cheeseburger egg rolls. It’s also a delicious condiment for tacos, tostadas, sandwiches, and even seafood recipes like fried fish rice bowls!

While you can usually find this in the grocery store, it’s super easy to make at home with just 2 ingredients. It’ll save you some money if you already have mayo and sriracha in your fridge! Plus, you can basically make it in the time it’ll take to say “sriracha aioli.”

Ingredients

  • Light mayo – Light mayo has a slightly milder flavor than regular mayo, which we find works great for making flavored aioli.
  • Sriracha – You can find all different kinds of sriracha at the store, and each brand has its own unique flavor, texture, and spice level. Any brand will work for this recipe, but note that you might need to make minor adjustments to the ingredient proportions until it tastes how you want it to. We’ve used Huy Fong, Roland, and Kikkoman sriracha and they all turn out a bit differently, but equally delicious!
  • Optional add-ins – Occasionally we like to mix in lime juice or lemon juice, depending on what we’re using this for! It’ll thin out the aioli a bit so it’s great for drizzling on things like tacos. The lime version goes well with Mexican food, and lemon goes well with seafood or Mediterranean dishes.

How To Make Sriracha Aioli

It doesn’t get much easier than making this 2-ingredient recipe. Combine the mayo and sriracha (and optional lime or lemon juice) in a bowl, mix vigorously, and enjoy!

We have this mini whisk that works great for homemade condiments, but you can also just use a spoon.

Lime juice gives this spicy aioli a great flavor profile for Mexican food! Use it for tacos (especially our bacon egg and cheese breakfast tacos), chicken fajita bowls, tostadas, or appetizers like avocado chorizo spring rolls.

Lemon juice in sriracha aioli makes a great flavor profile for seafood, Mediterranean dishes, and Asian food. We like to drizzle it on fried fish rice bowls and fish tacos, use it as a dip for fish and chips or Spanish fried cauliflower (one of our favorite tapas dishes!), or pair it with crab cakes.

  • Lime or lemon juice – We recommend adding a splash of lime or lemon to tailor the aioli to the dish you’re using it on, although it’s still delicious without either of these ingredients. Lime works great for Mexican food, while lemon pairs well with seafood, Mediterranean dishes, and Asian flavors.
